Water Damage in a Commercial Building in Austin, TX

This building located in Austin, TX had a pipe burst in the wall on the 31st floor causing water damage to 12 levels of the building. Although there was not much visible water damage on the walls or floors, out highly trained professionals were able to use a moisture meter to test the moisture levels that were present. Our crews were also able to use an infrared thermal imager to detect where water was present in the walls.

SERVPRO of East Central Austin was notified as soon as possible. This was an important factor; if you have water damage to your home or business that isn't necessarily a major water leak, make sure to notify our franchise immediately to avoid further damage or mold growth. 

Pictured above is one room that was affected in the building. The picture on the left is from the initial inspection, as you can see, there is no visible water damage. However, once our crew members used their certified equipment, moisture levels were reading high and water was present. The picture on the right hand side is showing the equipment that was placed in order to dry out the affected material.
